Some studios have tried it and failed, such as Hello Games. Some gamers are a little bit worried about this level of ambition. The developers had to design a new engine from scratch to handle Ancel's vision for the _ Beyond Good and Evil_ sequel. Loyalists will still be craving any new information on Beyond Good and Evil 2, but will now set their sights on E3 2022 for some hope of any news on an eventual release.According to Xavier Ancel, the different ships and vehicles demonstrated during the cinematic will be in the actual game. Industry insiders didn’t see 2021 going any different with high-level changes at Ubisoft likely impacting the company’s larger development processes, but that’s where the legendary game publisher could have taken the community by surprise. It was the perfect follow-up for its E3 2018 cinematic trailer, then little else after that. ![]() But at E3 2017 it made a surprise return with an impressive cinematic trailer during Ubisoft.
